It’s finally here! Our little passion project has officially come to life.
After publishing my book, I was considering starting a podcast to explore the themes of authenticity in a more dynamic and informal way. The topic of authenticity is so broad and so rich, and I felt like, even after writing almost 300 pages about it, I still had so much to say. Luckily for me, Diane Neu, one of my best friends from my first go-round in graduate school (I go a LOT) also wanted to start a podcast… so we got together and made a podcast baby! And I dearly love this little pod baby. The show is called And/Or/Versus, and in each episode we take a theory or idea from academic discourse and apply it to real life. We want to know how we can think better about life, how theory can inform our lives, and how our lives can give insight into theory. Because Diane is one of the funniest people I know, hilarity and pop culture references abound. She is hilarious. (I… am also there.)
I hope you’ll give us a listen! And if you have a question or a topic you’d like us to cover, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to hear from you and feature your question or comment on an upcoming show.
